    How do you figure out a restaurant is following the proper hygiene protocols? Or continues to do so after an inspection? Our entire life and current systems are inherently based on trust. There only so much you can do without someone finding a loophole as well.

    This is partly why we have reviews, ratings, and “verifiable” reviewers. Watch their stuff and make an informed decision. Why are you not already doing this I should ask? You wouldn’t need disclaimers of you follow the age old hardened and true advice.

  you don’t have to use user-assigned tags when you filter your search

  and I agree often the wisdom of the crowd is shitty, but user created ratings, reviews, and categories are utilized by people all the time

    If social media is any indicator, it’s gonna fail. Almost every post has someone saying it’s slop and people bandwagon on it, even when it’s OC.

      You think shitty youtubers audience make up majority of the population?

      Cause otherwise that issue really won’t matter 99% of the time, even for the few games review bombed its pretty recognisable when it happens.

        I’m saying some things shouldn’t be left to the general public when it’s easily abused with no way to prove or deny it.

        A review is different than a tag, even the game tags are inappropriate a lot of times. Souls games being labeled as “casual” for example. It’s already not working lol.
