Those terms have meaning the the FDA, they just don’t mean what most people think. Free range means no cages and access to outdoor area, usage or grazing isn’t required. Cage free, similarly just means no cages in the shelter, the chickens are still 100% indoors. Grass fed is no longer controlled.
