I’d say its similar to lemmy, but with features people have asked for like a way to combine the feeds of similar communities and more moderation options.

The easiest way I can explain it though is to encourage people to just check it out. It’s not as mature in some places, but has lots of features you didn’t realise you were missing until you tried them :)

It used activitypub, the same as lemmy, so you can find and interact with all the communities you do on lemmy too.
