If you get a timeout or a rate limit error, please try using a VPN to upload it 😊

Hi, non- lemm.ee newcomer here. I’m trying to import settings from srlpnk. It’s throwing an immediate error, not a timeout (though I have gotten some rate limit messages). I took a look at the json file, and I think the problem may be trying to reference avatar etc images on slrpnk.net. Looks like I may be able to delete the strings and replace them with
:null, but with you guys getting slammed I didn’t want to further gum up the works. Figured I’d run it by yas for input first. No rush, thanks!Demigodrick@lemmy.zip 7 hours ago
Hey - lots of new things we’ve not seen before being uncovered. Feel free to give it a shot (backup the old version first!) And let us know if it works or not. If that is the issue, I’ll log an issue with the lemmy devs as I’m sure it’ll help someone in the future
