Blaze@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 days agoYes. We were still waiting for the API (allowing app support) to come out of beta, and coincidentally it happened the same night Lemm.ee announced their shutdown.
So now quite a few Lemm.ee communities are considering moving to Piefed.

I like the idea of Piefed. Tried hosting lemmy and never got federation to work.

Yeah I was able to host Piefed for a bit. It's pretty readable.
