Comment on Why are KF users being banned?
AhoyMateys@lemmy.cafe 1 week agoYou say that like Discord hasn’t had its fair share of questionable members, including links to mass violence. Yet I don’t see Fediverse members being banned from multiple instances immediately after being sussed out as Discord members. I’m here to question a double standard and unwritten rule that exists within the Fediverse as a whole.

Discord is a platform that contains millions of users. It is literally inevitable criminals and sickos will use it as well. Kiwifarms is tiny and yet contains a comparable amount of crime and degeneracy as discord. It is about concentration.
