Is the fridge pushed back all the way in the additional photos? They should make shallower fridges
I’ve been in houses where the fridge blends with the cabinet so they do exist. My ex actually has a “counter depth” fridge and is able to make do but it is really tiny. I suppose you’re less likely to lose things in the back since there is no back.
I don’t have the organizational skills to make that work
Just saw this comment. Yep , you lose space with counter depth and there are even shallower ones that are super small. Most fully blended ones are a mix of counter depth fridge/ normal cabinets and regular fridge/ deep cabinets. I wanted the space. I need all the fridge space and the walking space so the fridge poking out is what i get.

Yeah, its pushed all the way in. They make shallower fridges, but you lose alot of space internally. When i was planning out the kitchen, it was clear that the fridge would stick out from the cabinets but we live that fridge. I could have made the cabinets deeper to cover more but i wanted to keep as much space for movement around the island as i could so i stuck with standard depth cabinets and a protruding fridge
