Zizzy@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 year agoI disagree, bottom right can work. It just has to be written as a slice of life, not an action show. In practice, almost all of them dont understand this, so its still a terrible subgenre.

“Haven’t you heard, I’m Sakamoto” is a 10/10 example of the good kind, imo. Hilariously overpowered teenager in a normal ass highschool. Feels like it was definitely written to satirize those over-the-top power dynamics.
