I’ve been using Scaleway’s TEM for about a year without a complaint. The service is free if you send 300 emails a month or less (then 0.25€ per 1000 mails).

That’s a great recommendation, thanks! The pay per use model seems very fair and I like their approach to sustainability matters very much.
