KnightontheSun@lemmy.world 1 week agoMany years ago I saw a post on…probably Digg, that espoused 200 (very valid) reasons to hate Reagan. It was one of those light-bulb moments for me as at that time I had no idea how damaging his presidency was.
However, the new American analogue will be trump.

I mean, Reagan was step 3 of how we got here. The first two steps were Nixon, and the dawn/systematic adoption of the Friedman Doctrine as the de rigueur corporate governance tactic in the US and most of the western world.
