  Whatever Adobe has for painting --> Krita (FOSS)

    Acrobat --> Literally anything else. Even firefox the browser lets you edit pdf. Please don’t pay a subscription model for “pdf editor” in 2025.

      I can’t believe Acrobat still exists. Like I had to explain to someone that Acrobat and WinRAR are pretty much obsolete.

  Depends on the app. There are different ones that offer an alternative to Adobe’s version but no one big suite that contains them all. We should all be thankful for that.
