Do you have any source that they are AI generated? They are ugly as hell, but to me they don’t seem to be AI generated.

Off-topic, I really hate the new AI generated icons Microsoft is using.

Yeah, that’s called having a life, you should get one.
Microsoft hasn’t said anything one way or another, but AI generated icons are pretty easy to spot by their artifacts. The shadows are messed up and the gradients are wonky, I use Microsoft products every day and they changed the splash icons in a bunch of their products to this mess.

No need to get insulting. I saw that you were posting on other threads, so I thought you were just ignoring my message.
Now with THAT Icon I can see the AI bullshit. I have to use Windows at work every day, but I have never seen this ugly AI Icon (or others similar to it). I try to not use Microsoft products in my private life, Linux and open source for life. From what programme is that? I thought you meant the icon in OPs post, in which I can’t see any AI stuff, and these icons are the only ones I know from Microsoft products.

Oh didn’t know they were AI generated. I thought it was just the work of underpaid UI designers, kind of a silent protest

Nah, it has AI artifacting all over it. The UI designers would have had to be deliberate about it, this is just Microsoft eating their own dog food.
