LMK when they add the ability to follow hashtags.
Also I hate when sites make it to where you can’t see anything until after you create an account.

Antennas/custom feeds are a more powerful version of following tags tbh, as you can put hashtags in the included words.
However I agree, I also dislike when sites make it where you can't see stuff until you sign up, or just make it difficult (as is the case here). If you go to many of these instances and add /explore after the instance name, e.g. sharkey.world/explore, you can get a better look before signing up.
Figured that out from my stubborn curiosity.

How so? That hasn't seemed to be much of a negative for Bluesky, and its default interface doesn't have a deck/column view like Misskey and its forks.

Because it’s annoying. I don’t want to go back and forth across different feeds. I just want one.
