Another option is to have something like Google groups. Third option is something like a mailing list (the traditional one with unsubscribe links). This last one, I am not sure if anyone uses it anymore (outside of newsletters).

@girish I for one would appreciate to have groups (with both, internal and external users/addresses) where you can easily send an email to all recipients (so teams don't need to manage multiple address books for bcc sending)
