It’s simple. The DNC needs to go off script, that’s all their is to it. They need to take risks, be bolder, control the media narrative, and abandon their precious, “status quo.”

Anyone would have lost. Don’t you understand what’s going on in the US. Have you seen the MAGA movement? How can any sane person compete with this shittery? It was meant to happen, if not 2024 then 2028.

I agree with that they must change. I mean it’s apparent. But how do you challenge something like MAGA? It doesn’t matter what they say, MAGA will always blame everything on them. The level of stupidity is outrageous. For instance the latest “incident” with the leak on Signal. Trump will just say fuck it, it wasn’t classified anyway and by the way, Atlantic is a shitty liberal newspaper. And it won’t hurt them one bit. 🤷♂️ How can one compete with this?

You stop giving a fuck about what MAGA thinks.

Mmm, no. Pretty much any competent party could have beaten Trump.

Not when the system was rigged, like Elon and Dump proudly proclaimed.
Ilovethebomb@lemm.ee 1 month ago
The reason the system is rigged is the other team have been too busy licking windows for the last twenty years or so to stop it.
Seriously, gerrymandering has been going on for decades.
DmMacniel@feddit.org 1 month ago
I don’t mean gerrymandering though.

Nobody that is honest and not a complete idiot would have lost. You cannot compete with this bullshit unless you do the same. But that is mutually exclusive because would you go on stage and tell everyone that migrants eat cats and dogs? Or any other of the 2 billion lies.

Sorry, but I don’t believe you. Trump didn’t get many more votes than last time, the Dems just got fewer. Had Biden stepped back earlier and given someone else a real chance, things would probably have turned out differently.
I would agree that most people would have lost given the short time. Not everyone, because there was real energy and hope for some time (before wonderful statements like “things won’t change with me”), but most Dems.

Fair enough. Not everyone would have lost.
