    The Chinese government is an authoritarian shitshow. This is objective fact.

    Before you even try it, don’t “what about” and point to another authoritarian shithole like that makes China’s continuing abuses ok. It’s not, and there is no defending it. To attempt to do so is excusing it, and merely shows your ignorance and/or complicity.
