Dolphin has to run through a compatibility layer on more modern systems (xWayland). By implementing a native Wayland interface that won’t be necessary and can use features such as HDR and zero copy presentation (low latency).

Oh that’s interesting. Would that zero copy presentation feature help when using it in Vulkan mode?
