  I agree with Steve - I think if AMD released the 9070 for $500 instead of matching the 5070 at $550, AMD’s market share would probably double. As it is, we’ll just have to see what the market think about $550.

    I don’t actually think that’s true. Not because people wouldn’t want it, but rather because yields are good enough that there won’t actually be many 9070s (which is a cut down and lower clocked die).
