Comment on Why don't people going to college get HUD, Food Stamps, and free Medicare/Medicaid while enrolled? Instead of the parents footing the bill or the student working 3 jobs and school?

You can often get such assistance if you are poor. If you aren’t, it’s expected you or your parents will cover basic costs.
