I think the federation should be able to handle some more trolls if there’s also some genuine conversations to be had.
My instance has both Lemmygrad and Hexbear federated and I’d like it to stay that way.

Especially because in my experience when people have asked for other kinds of trolls and bad faith actors to be removed on the defederation level, the common retort is to just block them yourself (which, to be fair, I support as steps between nothing and defederating)
