Rich does make most of their wealth from the working class being convinced to purchase their products over other alternatives. I don’t think they’d want the working class to consider other brands because of fear of retaliation and rising insurance costs. Ideally brand would be as appealing to as many demographics as possible to increase the potential consumers extract money from than narrow it.
