If we have a similar split here, not handling app traffic would undermine the original purpose of the geoblock. “Use an app” is a much lower bar than “Use a VPN” in terms of accessibility.
Only you know the figures though :)

It’s a valid point - I’ll mull over it. I’m not sure ofcom are going to download an app, but I guess we’ll have to see what they actually do end up enforcing. As long as it doesn’t break federation, then it’s a simple removal of allowing api access to the uk users which would stop apps.
