sarahmatthews@tweesecake.social 1 week ago @ppatel @bookstodon Oh I’m so glad it was comforting, I remember I was laid up with a nasty cold or Covid maybe when I read one of her books - Evelyn Hugo - and it was a huge help! I actually had a listen to part of the audiobook of this one when I finished it, mainly to listen to the Spanish parts being read out to me as I kind of skipped them in braille haha! It was very good
@sarahmatthews Oh I loved Evelyn Hugo. It remains my favorite of her books. I would have loved to read the Spanish in Braille. But, I find that , unless a translation is done well, the accented letters get left out. @bookstodon
