Is there even truth to Trump’s claim that US ships are being overcharged?

If they are, I think it’s perfectly reasonable to overthrow the democratically elected government of Panama. Tough but fair.

Of course not. Trump’s source of the US being “overcharged” is that they’re having to pay at all.

  Nowadays I use this rule of thumb: If I hear Trump say something, at least 50% of it is false. Newspapers tend to write about the most outrageous parts, so if you read about Trump saying something, it’s pretty much guaranteed to be all wrong.
