I posted a long rant on mastodon about this show just today, but to summarize: I absolutely hate it, and nothing about this scenario is romantic. That poor girl is trapped in an engagement she desperately wants to escape and absolutely no one cares, and that NPC-looking prince goes full-on yandere on her while it’s all played for laughs. I will continue hate-watching, though.
