I feel like sometimes those communities aren’t really funny memes, it’s just screenshots of tweets to convey a message.
And that’s fine, but I guess !funny@sh.itjust.works can try to focus more on genuinely funny content.
If you want to suggest consolidation, feel free, but for reasons stated above I’m not that interested into microblogging communities anyway

I agree that c/funny should stay separate. But I don’t see a huge distinction between the content on whitepeopletwitter and microblogmemes. Might as well go with the name which is broader and less racially charged.
