Glitch@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 weeks agoRules will keep getting more stupid if everyone blindly follows them. Rules are written by humans, who make mistakes and change over time. Hopefully they consider changing the dress code, considering how society has evolved since it was written.

You’re right, it’s more to do with “we see ourselves as an elite club, and jeans make us look like the poors”.
