Thats a relief, I was worried you were completely deranged.
What NAS software? Does the nvme to sata thing properly pass through the disk serial numbers? Truenas gets very pissy if the disk serial numbers aren’t passed in properly.

I am running fedora server, and yes. Serialnumbers, SMART data, all seems well. Am a bit surprised by that as well.
