Ooh… I like this a lot. It has a very zen-like feel to it.
Fujii doesn’t actually lead anyone to anything - it’s more like he just provides a space in which those who are ready for it can figure out something about themselves.

Yeah, Fujii is great about not caring what others might think and just doing what you enjoy, and by that the space around him changes.
Recently found something similar, but it’s kinda reversed. The Solitary Gourmet has a salaryman in the 90’s trying to find places to eat. Most of the time he’s has prejudices about restaurants, but always finds something to enjoy in these odd places he eats.
