Comment on Is there is any rss feed reader for android that accept the following feeds?

I use FreshRSS (a self-hosted RSS aggregator) with Read You (for Android) and have Techdirt and Cascade PBS working. Of course this might require you to self host FreshRSS, but FreshRSS is well worth it.

Self hosting is wonderful of course.
But at least for now, I can’t self host in any capacity. So I require a solution that work on demand on my device.
But thank you for the suggestion.

All of the providers are not in English or not working with the exception of decent.im/newsreader/ , which is a paid service, I can’t pay for currently.

I use the one from hostux.net, it’s quite easy to figure out what “login”, “password” and “remember me for 30 days” are in French.

Just took a glance at the settings in Read You, it seems like you might be able to use it locally or with FreshRSS. Might be worth a try. Image

I tried the local option, sadly it does not work.
