There are no changes to the nbn wholesale pricing of these speed tiers arising from the speed increases.
Interesting, however, are there not other fees and prices that need to be paid by the ISPs? ie it won’t be the same price for end users?
I am suspicious that they only talk about wholesale, not end user, pricing. They’re not directly responsible for it but they would have modelled it and then decided not to mention it in this article.
I’m not certain if it’s still the case, but the announcement earlier this year stated the upgrades were being undertaken with no increase to wholesale costs: …com.au/…/nbn-plans-to-accelerate-highest-speed-t…
That’s also not to say that the retailers don’t increase their pricing independent of the wholesale pricing.

I would expect it to be the same as now with pricing dependent on the ISP. You’ll likely still have to do the 6 months / 12 months churn to get the best deal.
