Is it possible to point to a container folder to import from instead of uploading from the interface? I already have all my files in a folder structure on the server i’m running pdfding from.

It is possible to ingest PDFs via a consume folder. However consuming the files will cause them to be deleted. So I don’t think this will be very helpful in your case. There is however a bulk upload feature in the UI, which allows uploading may PDFs at once.

do the files get modified after uploading? some filesystems can deduplicate based on contents, maybe it wouldn’t take double space that way.
