I feel like “even bigger battleship” isn’t quite comparable to the absurdity of the Ratte concept. If you want silly ideas like that from the allies, why not mention, say, project Habakkuk? (For anyone unfamiliar, there was an idea to build an aircraft carrier bigger than any ship ever built, out of pkrete, which is ice with wood fiber mixed into it)
