Got pretty far, surprised that I got a “me and the environmentalists failed to make the world a better place” given I had negative emissions, an ecstatic populace, and a message about how biodiversity was healing or something by the time I died. Time to replay! Would get distracted from my life responsibilities again with this game.

I don’t think the space upgrades are needed to “make the world a better place” both IRL and in game. The main focus is to save the earth.

I think now the goal is to have the temp increase under 1.0C, negative emissions, and biodiversity at the 1 bar. The tough thing is even though I keep replaying I cannot figure out how to get my temp under 1.0C. I pulled it off once and probably never again lol

Right?! I think I need more aggressive veganism rather than just meat cells because of the power usage. But you have to get negative green house gases for a while to get the temp to actually reverse.
I’ve been aiming for reasonable space myself which is crazy hard to get much of anything else so far

I did the same as usual, except in my last years I did the Solar Radiation Management option that makes the Accelerationists like you. It has some negative side effects, but the worst ones will not show up because it dropped my temp and I won the game. That’s for my successor to deal with when the population gets mad and shoots down the planes doing the SRM and the temperature goes back up again :P I feel like there has to be a “clean” way to lower the temperature, without using SRM at the end and leaving a mess for my successor, but hey.
