Psychodelic@lemmy.world 3 weeks agoHave you tried watching movie recaps on youtube? It’s the other extreme but i find it good enough for movies I’ll never see. There’s lots of movies I’ve seen there I’m glad I didn’t watch for a full hour. Most movies have tons of similar tropes you can easily understand in like a 15 min sentence

Movie recaps does not have scenes, they just include a quick summary.

Yeah, idk. They’ll show the important scenes. Just not entirely or anything. lol
I was mostly joking but it’s def an option. It works if you just want the jist of the story and don’t really care about the acting or basically anything else
