PlasticExistence@lemmy.world 3 weeks agoThis was my experience too. I tried setting up a Bottles container for it as I’ve had success with that approach a few of the times that I can’t get a Proton version to work, but no dice.
I actually wasted a couple of hours trying to get it to work because it looks fun, but I gave up when I realized that I had spent all of that evening’s free time not having fun.

Bummer. This is how I’d try to play it since I lack a Windows environment. Thank you for reporting, intrepid explorer.
It says on the site you need WINE so it’s hard to understand why Proton wouldn’t work easily.
