Join us on 27 October at 17h CET for an O.U.R. COOP Reading the Scene session with the CEO of a large cooperative bank!
oran Jeras is the CEO and Chairman of the European Ethical Bank (ZEF), based in Zagreb. A former mainstream banking consultant with years of experience in the Netherlands, he became an ethical finance visionary and founded ZEF, Croatia's largest cooperative. ZEF believes in a future society whose economic system is democratic, transparent, solidary, inclusive, rooted in cooperative principles, serving the real needs of communities and caring for the planet. It aims to build tools that enable a sustainable and just transformation of financial infrastructure; to develop members' capacities for active contribution to a good economy, and to change the institutional framework toward greater recognition of the cooperative model.
During our session, Goran will explain ZEF’s banking models and how they support cooperative development.
