Exercise #2: Talk to a friend. Speak only about each other for 5 minutes, never about yourself. Record it. Transcribe it.

  • I think you are a beautiful canvas to work with.

  • I’d say your face card is not getting declined.

  • You’re like cosmic consciousness in a person.

  • You light up the room. And you have unassuming traits about you, not in a bad way, just the fact that you’re going about your life, not really the loudest person in the room. Most days you’re pretty low key. I’m terrorized by the fact that if I had just passed you by on the street, I could have missed the coolest person in existence. That’s the kind of vibe you give me. And there’s a humbleness to you that is kind of annoying too, because it goes back to your inability to see your genius. Because you are a genius, folks are fucking obsessed with your mind. You’re funny and you’re witty, and even when you don’t say much, you always give them that “don’t fuck with me” face.

  • Hahahahaha, that is so true. My turn. You have this childlike energy to you that is not immature it’s just authentic and pure, but there’s also a pragmatism to you. You’re not asking for anything, you’re just showing up. You do that. That’s very hot.

  • What I love about you is the fact that you get easily distracted. I can talk to you about squirrels and then about this weird neighbor you had 12 years ago. And I love it. It’s just enjoyable and cute and funny. Time spent with you is very healing.

  • You make me feel like we’re little hobbits sharing food and drinking together and smoking pipe‑weed. It’s just very merry and cozy and homey but exciting and fun.

  • But I also think you have this hard side to you. Maybe sometimes plans with you are hard to lock down, or your consistency in getting back to people wavers, but that’s only because your primary focus is the people who love you, and yourself, and your goals. And that’s something I really, really admire about you. You don’t realize how much of an accomplisher you are — you need to relax a bit about it.

  • But I find your vision, your unique form of expression… well, first of all, you create an excellent vibe. And you create images and ideas I could have never conceived. I would love to collaborate with you one day.

  • Shut up. You are so 3026 and people are in 2026.

  • Hahaha. Also, you are the same person I knew years ago. You’re somebody who really doesn’t give up. And I feel like people underestimate you, but it works in your favor somehow. There is just so much to you. Your energy is infectious. I always felt like you and I could change the world.

  • But I feel the same. I am a kid and you are Disney. Everything is magic when I’m around you. You’re just so easy to talk to. You’re just doing your thing and I love it. We get along so well, like clown to clown telepathic communication.

  • I wish you would see your excellence more. I just want you to recognize all your beautiful qualities, the high quality of your character and personality, this top shelf type of energy. I mean, I feel like under all the ease you transmit, there is a lot of hard work and effort and intention. And you don’t get to be the recipient of your own energy, so you miss out on all these wonderful things people get from you just by interacting with you every day.

  • Think of it this way: the hardest part of being a lighthouse is that all you see is darkness. And I don’t mean you only see darkness, what I’m saying is your authentic nature and spirit are so powerful. You’re the type of person who would say “Yes, I’m fine,” and people would just believe it. And I know you’re an intense person who has seen the world, you have an amazing work ethic, and you never lost your shine or who you are. And I respect that a lot.

  • If I needed to hide a body, I would definitely call you. This exercise is hard, might run out of words soon.
