I have a weird problem with #3DPrinting
Whenever I print things that should screw into other things, they don't fit. For example with OpenGrid, when I print the MultiConnect snap and the screw that goes into it, I need to scale it down by 10% to be able to screw it in. Is this normal?

Whenever I do screw connections from plastic to plastic they're usually fairly large (like a container with a screw on lid). I'd usually allow about 0.2 mm clearance between the outside thread and inside thread. I'll always orient the threads so that the axial direction is vertical, and I'll print with a reasonably fine layer height (e.g. 0.12 mm).If the thread is for a hole on the bottom surface of the print, elephant's foot will make the bottom layer have a smaller diameter and will stop you getting another part to even start screwing in. Even after adjusting settings to prevent the elephant's foot problem, it can still be hard to start screwing in. (I usually create a cone shape to subtract from the very bottom turn of the thread.)
If you want two plastic threads to screw in very smoothly, one trick I've used is to print the two parts with different layer heights so that the layer ridges don't bind. If one part is printed with 0.12 mm layers and the other is printed with 0.14 mm layers, then the layers at the interface between the two parts will be mostly unsynchronized, so you get much less jerkiness as you screw them.

either your extruder steps (unlikely if it's not a diy machine) or flow. This might be off due to filament not being to spec or your nozzle being worn and not exactly the right diameter anymore. (Or wrong nozzle size setting, seems weird, but check it anyway, these things happen)

Maybe try printing a califlower?
