x_cli@infosec.exchange 1 week ago @quad9dns Do you block domain names pointing to C2 servers?
CounterPillow@mastodon.social 1 week ago @quad9dns you already overblock massively based on some mouthbreathers "threat lists". You're apparently fine with blocking completely innocuous websites already, so why pretend this is about principles?

@quad9dns This must've been a very frustrating ruling for you to receive. It was ridiculous enough for the German court to find you in contempt for not complying with a technical impossibility, but at least you won in the end. Not so this time. All the same, thank you for standing for an open and private internet.
gbt@pouet.chapril.org 1 week ago @quad9dns how would you technically stop serving people in France?
anything_synth@aus.social 1 week ago @quad9dns Very disappointing result 😞 Keep up the great work tho 💪😎
tuxicoman@social.jesuislibre.net 1 week ago Silly question but how will you be able to not answer IP located in France?
If you can answer that, then you could apply filtering ?
Or I miss something.
I agree with you on the core problem regarding neutrality of an global DNS service.
Just asking what is the technical difference in the identification.
