Hi. Peertube posts used to be shown correctly, but maybe something has changed (I haven't tested again for a while).

Can you give a link to one of the posts that are not correctly shown?

I'm actually following this PeerTube channel without getting the videos into my feed:
@thelinuxexperiment_channel@tilvids.com

I also follow The Linux Experiment peertube channel and don't get the videos in my feed unless I physically copy the link and paste it into the content search.

But the Nextcloud peertube (@nextcloud_main@peertube.nextcloud.com) does work for me. Those videos do populate into my feed when Nextcloud posts them.

Well, a post on peertube is a video, and the latest one is this:

https://video.chasmcity.net/w/uabb4whv9L4FTHYXvBWaMa

It shows up like the attachment to this post. No thumbnail or embedded video (which, looking at the code, must have once been the case), and nothing to click on to lead to the actual video. I do use some custom theme, but I looked at the raw html underneath and it's not there either.

I can provide the json as well that snac has stored for this post, if that helps.

Meanwhile, I've set up a development instance as well, where I reproduced it and now (or well, before I had to leave for a social thing) am looking at inserting log statements here and there, to figure out when the html is actually generated :)

I think the problem is around here: https://codeberg.org/grunfink/snac2/src/branch/master/activitypub.c#L372 - it seems to expect one level of nesting that isn't there in the json that's saved on disk.

Instead of something with 'application/x-mpegURL' as media type, it directly gets stuff that it expects at line 380.

The json has this:

    "url": [
        {
            "type": "Link",
            "mediaType": "text/html",
            "href": "https://video.chasmcity.net/w/uabb4whv9L4FTHYXvBWaMa"
        },
        {
            "type": "Link",
            "mediaType": "text/html",
            "href": "https://video.chasmcity.net/videos/watch/e407d895-4525-4622-89ca-c4a8af9e0fff"
        },
        {
            "type": "Link",
            "mediaType": "video/mp4",
            "href": "https://video.chasmcity.net/static/web-videos/896b26d2-4b48-4e61-bb49-8386e82600e4-1080.mp4",
            "height": 1080,
            "width": 1920,

etc ...

Anyway, not sure if this makes sense, I'm a bit tired and about to go to sleep, so maybe I should take another look tomorrow :)
