Today I updated PIP and NPM packages in a couple of projects.

While PIP updates went very smooth, using uv and pipenv, updating NPM packages was a pain.

Everytime I have to touch JavaScript and its package eco system, I feel dirty and uncomfortable.

Yet many people seem to be able to manage it and don't complain, some may even like it.

I wonder what is wrong with me.
