My son (12) is collecting retro consoles etc.
He has been wanting a CRT TV for a long time, and has not been able to get one.
And today I brought him with me to the recycling center, they have a store there too where they sell stuff, no CRT TV in the store.. I told the guy that works there what we where looking for, and he told us to go next door and have a look (where people deliver old electronics for recycling etc), and when we walked in the door there was a crt TV in the bin, we asked if we could take it - they said yes, we went home and it worked! So now he's super stoked - and the best part - it was free :)
