I think it's interesting to look back on the year and think about some both small and big achievements, especially in the more technical aspects
C++
This year I've done C++. It wasn't even intentional or planned, it just happened that some projects I've used were written in C++ and I wanted to tinker with them

But most of the work actually went into biboumi, which is a really great piece of software and I am really happy I got to play with it

Silksong
Hollow Knight: Silksong released, and it's my favourite game of the year.
Past the casual playthrough I've also started speedrunning it (Any% NMG), and it's been really fun. Hopefully I can break the 1:10 barrier in the upcoming year and try some other categories (or play other games :P)

Ukulele
I learned how to play the ukulele. Basically an easy mode guitar. Found some easy songs and strummed away.
Work
Some quick work achievements
I worked on the cookie banner that pops up on the home page of
https://lanekassen.no/
As well as the application form for adults looking for student loans
https://lanekassen.no/en-US/soknad/st01d3i/
And coming up this year a couple more such forms
And lastly, one OSS contribution. Which is not a lot, but it's more than the average :P

Maintenance
Just a little shoutout to the general boring stuff that happen all the time, yet are still work. Such as keeping the *.lucamatei.com domains alive with all their apps and programs. Updating mcbe.wtf. General maintenance of speedrunbot.com. Everything that it takes to keep lanekassen.no usable. Still using linux and voidlinux and guix.
2026
No plans for 2026. Just open road form here
