@peaoPerdido@datasci.social yeah, a lot of these things have been done in certain ways for ages, but now that everybody and their uncle is horny over all things "AI," everything has to have that label slapped on.
Sure helps with normalizing this new "normal," which is a nice benefit for the pro-AI folk. Now whenever they pull the "it's here now anyway so why fight it" card, they can even point at a random supermarket water melon. See? Stop fighting the inevitable, you're being difficult.
