on october 4th 2024, shortly before eepy.zone will expire, i will be turning off akko.eepy.zone and eepy.zone.
i'm tired. running an instance, even a small one, is really difficult. i've enjoyed the time here for the most part. but the horrors associated with being a fedi admin are awful. i've had to sift through things i didn't really want to see or deal with, make a lot of weird decisions, and be monitoring things. i dont want to do that anymore!
i'm sorry i could not give a longer notice to the users on here, but i didn't know a month ago that this could even be happening, but i'm sure of it now.
for now i'm also reducing how public i am on fedi. if we're mutuals, feel free to send a follow request to @blueb. that will be my new home for the time being.
if you need help migrating, let me know. i'll gladly help
