A bunch of FOSS software/websites/projects that caught my attention in last few weeks:
SW (FOSS):
- Command line tooter: toot
- Federated & self-hosted bookmark manager: Betula
- Replacement for Doodle (poll for meeting dates): Framasoft’s Framadate
- Gradia: tool for annotating screenshots (available as flatpack in your package manager). I tried it out – quick annotation and editing of a screenshot is quite good. What bothers me: It takes only a full screenshot, which I rarely need. A crop of a screen would be great.
- Flathub app store list of popular apps (looks polished).
- A delightful list of fediverse apps (it seems fediverse ecosystem is thriving)
- Docker images of popular apps on LinuxServer.io (a friend sent me this and I still wonder why t.h. would I need dockerized Firefox)
Edu:
Other goodies:
- Roman letters with location, sender, receiver, map. Oh boy, they were more literate than people nowadays.
- Clay as a PCB substrate (on Feminist Hacking).
Congrats to all authors and creators.
