Things might be fixed for future replies but it is looking like replies from accounts on other instances that I don't follow haven't been making it to my instance? I've replied to those from an alt account and I will check again to see if it keeps happening.
That said, I would as always appreciate replies to this piece via email! And that'll bypass any possible federation issues. ;)
(Seriously, getting an email reply to a blog post always makes my day.)
cuauh@social.heycuauh.com@social.heycuauh.com 1 week ago This won't fix replies not being federated. But in the future, in you want to reply with your main account instead of an alt, search the status URL in your client and it will force federation for that status.
For example, this status, the one I'm replying too, didn't federate with my instance because I don't follow anyone there, but I was able to reply because I searched the full URL in my client.
Tested it with Enafore and Tusky.
