# gotosocial question: My instance was down for about a week - how long

   You may need to visit profiles of each different account you follow to trigger your #gotosocial to pull in posts. This should also wake up the servers that will push content to your machine. Probably a way to script this? I’m not sure.
   
   Maybe there is an easier way (like being patient) but I just looked at my following list and drilled into each one. 😂
