Patreon says yo-yoing is “sexual activity”

Patreon thought my yo-yo video was too sexy, so they removed it from their platform 🤣

text from Patreon that says " Your post Branding A Day: Week One Compilation contains content that doesn't meet our Community Guidelines and has been hidden. To make this post visible again, please edit it to remove any parts that don't meet these guidelines: Sexual Activity After you save your changes, your updated post will be sent for review. We'll let you know within 2-3 business days if it's approved or if more changes are needed."

I’m serious, though… they said my yo-yo video contained “sexual activity”, so they hid it from public view and said it was up to me to remove the sexual parts, whatever they are. This was a video for my Patreon subscribers that took 7 days too make.

I made the video above because A) I’m hella petty and B) apparently the only thing you can do when a giant platform makes a mistake is politely ask them to fix it and wait. As a creator, I’m reliant on platforms like Patreon and I hate feeling powerless whenever these platforms make stupid mistakes.

If you want to see the video that Patreon censored, you can still see the full thing on youtube:
